Philly, Baby!

So today was the last day of staging! THank GOD! It was a lot of dumb icebreaker games and useless crap...hours and hours of it! Tomorrow morning we board a bus and and truck on over to JFK in NYC and leave for Sofia...I can't wait!!! The other Peace Corps Volunteers are very cool. I guess they would be since theyre doing the Peace Corps like I am, and you know I am the coolest! Just Kidding...Oh, there is also a Rick Moranis lookalike in my group which is fairly entertaing...everytime i look at him all i can hear is "Feed me Seymore!"

Phily is cool. A fun city...lots happening...I went on a walking tour today and saw all of the historical sites and made fun of the whole tour with my roomate Kate..she is a pretty hip chick and we get along smashingly. Man, i think i am still in a state of shock and just kind of going with the flow...and will be for the next 2 years I think. Well, I'm pretty sure there's a guy waiting to use the computer...so that's all for now! I will update again as soon as possible! I love you all and can't wait to tell you some real interesting stories!

ADIOS!!! MUCHOS BESOS! PEACE!

Comments:
Hi Shaina! I read your alligator story! I was laughing so loud that Ray had to come down and see what I was laughing about. He thought it was really funny too. You are such a great writer!
We just got back from dinner with Johnny and Nancy. We looked at all of his photos from China. The pictures of the terra cotta soldiers were quite fascinating. He brought a little one home with him. I would like a full size one for the garden...I bought a big plant for the hallway today, it looks nice. And we hung up some more paintings. We put the peter hurd drawing over the fire place. And Ray put up the mirror over my dresser. So bit by bit it becomes home. The same thing will happen to you. By the time the 2 years are up, you probably won't want to come home. I am waiting to hear from you - I hope you remember to call from Paris. Just to let me know you got there OK. I will be asleep, so if you forget, or you can't get to a phone, I will understand. But I hope you wake me up....

Hey Jen, thanks for the New Zealand stationary. And Hi Shannnon! I know you guys are reading these...
And hi to Dara Lea, too!!! You are probably reading these too. If you can get to a computer.

Back to Shaina:
I have to get to bed, and go to work tomorrow. One more week until the kids start school here. I will let you know what I think of my school and stuff when I find out more.
I'm glad you had fun in Philly and liked everybody. I am very proud of you, and I love you, and I miss you. Waiting for your next episode....

Meow! Purr! I miss my Shaina-San already! How am I going to survive two whole years?

It sounds like the people will be cool! Don't forget about us here!

Well, I didn't hear from you. You are SOMEWHERE in Bulgaria. WHERE??? Let me know as soon as you can. I'm thinking of you and I miss you.
Love,
Mooma
